Memorial Support Program
Share
The Memorial Support Preplanning Checklist is coming from a place of both necessity and caring and is intended as a list of items to consider. With tips and information that came from many focus groups, professionals in the funeral industry and from West Point classes who have compiled similar guides. Think of it as “BUGLE NOTES for your family” with everything they need to know.

Funeral Support
The goal of The Memorial Support Program is to help our West Point families with the difficult task of laying a loved one to rest in the West Point Cemetery. From resources for hotels and other things needed for a funeral, to leading the procession to the cemetery, if we can help make a difficult day just a little bit easier, we have met our goal. Please review the For Your Peace of Mind booklet for more detailed information.
Connect
The Survivor Community Outreach is a new WPAOG initiative to bring together those connected by both a love of West Point and the experience of losing a loved one. It is our goal to provide a crucial space for individuals to heal, find support, and build resilience. We invite you to join our Survivor Community Outreach on Sallyport to chat with others or attend webinars and programs designed by professionals and those who know what it means to suffer the loss of someone.

Remember
At the time of passing, all West Point graduates receive a tribute page where family, colleagues, and classmates can share thoughts and memories. We encourage you to leave a message or story on the Be Thou At Peace pages.
The West Point Association of Graduates publishes Memorial Articles in memory of deceased West Point graduates online and in the TAPS magazine each summer.
