In coordination with the Army West Point Women’s Lacrosse team and their families, the West Point Society of Annapolis (WPSOA) hosted pre-game and post-game tailgates to celebrate the Army-Navy Women’s Lacrosse game on April 13.
This year, the Army team arrived in Annapolis, Maryland as the underdog but played the No. 21 ranked Navy team with skill and determination. Although the first quarter was close, Navy took an 11-6 lead into halftime and never looked back.
The second half was played evenly, but Army was unable to catch the mids and lost 17-11, despite a career-high 16 saves by goalie CDT Lindsey Serafine ’26.
Following the game at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, approximately 200 people gathered for the post-game tailgate. Mission BBQ catered the tailgate and attendees included the Women’s Lacrosse team, families, guests, and WPSOA members.
