Congratulations to the West Point Class of 2024, “Like None Before,” on their graduation from the United States Military Academy on Saturday, May 25, 2024. President Joe Biden, 46th president of the United States, was the graduation speaker marking West Point’s 226th graduating class and the 45th anniversary of the first class to graduate women.

The Class of 2024 was comprised of 1,036 cadets who received diplomas. Among them were 150 members who attended the U.S. Military Preparatory school, 64 class members who had prior service, and nine with combat experience. Additionally, 96 members of the class were a child of a graduate, and 14 of those had both parents who were grads. There were 12 international cadets. Nearly 76 percent branched Combat Arms, and 182 have committed to additional service obligations. All 50 states were represented during graduation.

Skyler Chauff held both the highest cumulative Cadet Performance Score (overall) and the highest cumulative Quality Point Average. Jacob Woodruff earned the highest cumulative Military Program Score, and Dawson Stec had the highest cumulative Physical Program Score.

The Class was joined by four members of the Class of 1974, its 50 Year Affiliate Class, who presented the new lieutenants with their butter bars engraved with “74-24,” honoring the bonding and mentorship experienced over the 47-month experience.
