West Point, NY: The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) won two Gold Stevie® Awards and two Silver Stevie Awards in the 18th Annual American Business Awards®. WPAOG’s Gold awards were for Public Relations: NonProfit Fund Raising (150th Anniversary Video), and Other Publication – Association or Non-Profit (Parent Handbook). The Silver Awards were for Organization of the Year – Non-Profit or Government – Small, and Human Resources Team of the Year (The New Career Services Team).
“These awards recognize that we aspire to be the most highly connected alumni body in the world,” said Todd Browne, President and CEO, of the West Point Association of Graduates. “They are a direct reflection of the efforts of our
employees and alumni who work so hard to support West Point and the Long Gray Line.”
The American Business Awards is the U.S.’s premier business awards program and recognizes achievement in every facet of the workplace. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were considered in a wide range of categories. More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. Winners of other 2020 American Business Awards include: State Farm, Intel Corporation, Comcast, Forbes Media, PayPal, Mercedes-Benz USA, and Microsoft Corporation.
The name Stevie is taken from the name Stephen, which is derived from the Greek for crowned. Winners will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday, August 5 at 2pm ET.
