Three former Army West Point Men’s Rugby team members have been named to the final roster of the USA All-Military Team. Larry Williams ’23, who was the 2022 Rudy Scholz award recipient for being the top men’s rugby player in the nation, will join his former teammates KoiKoi Nelligan ’22 and Collin Grosse ’22 on the 28-man squad.
They were all part of the Army West Point Men’s 2021-22 D1A championship team where they all played crucial roles in the program’s first D1A title.
Comprised of both officers and enlisted members, the USA All-Military Team squad is made up of players from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
The team travels to the United Kingdom from November 3-13 and will be hitting the pitch to face off against the British Army and the Royal Air Force. On November 11, they will participate in Remembrance Day ceremonies and two days later attend the USA vs. Australia test match.
