Class of 2023 R-Day
More than 1,200 cadet candidates reported to the United States Military Academy on R-Day and began their transition from civilians to members of the Corps of Cadets, the Profession of Arms, and the Long Gray Line.

Class of 2022 Yearling Flag Ceremony
As part of the 50-year Class affiliation program, the Class of 1972 presented a class flag to the Class of 2022 today at the Cadet Field Training graduation ceremony at Camp Buckner.

The Class of 2019 Graduation
The 985 members of the Class of 2019 entered the Academy 47 months ago on June 29, 2015—or, as LTG Darryl Williams ’83, the 60th Superintendent of West Point, said to them on their graduation day, they entered “12 Marvel and three Star Wars movies ago, when the iPhone was still running on IOS-8 and Tom Brady only had four Super Bowl rings.”

Our hope is that the Class of 2022’s crest displays strength, solidarity, and the overall level of personal courage that is required of us upon graduation, and our natural affinity towards such qualities so far in our cadet careers.

Branch Night for the Class of 2019
After four years of learning about the 17 branches of the U.S. Army through the various initiatives surrounding the Branch Education and Mentorship Program (e.g. Branch Week, military instruction courses, summer training, etc.), on that night, November 14, 2018, the firsties finally learned what their identity, beyond “cadet,” will be in the profession of arms for the next five years or more.
