Forbes unveiled its list of the richest self-made women in America for 2024 with Kathleen Hildreth ’83 making her fifth consecutive appearance.

With a net-worth of $670 million, she joins 99 other distinguished names on the list such as singer and songwriter Taylor Swift, athlete Serena Williams, and businesswoman Kendra Scott. She was also the first veteran to be added to the list with her debut in 2019. In 2003, Hildreth cofounded M1 Support Services, an aviation-maintenance company in Texas. In 2023, M1 Support had just over $900 million in revenue.

As a direct result of Hildreth’s experience as a West Point cadet, Hildreth established an endowment of $1 million to the West Point Glee Club in support of the Margin of Excellence (MOE). She is also supporting the Michie Stadium Preservation project and the Dean’s initiatives for the 50th anniversary of women at West Point.

Hildreth served in the U.S. Army as an Aviation Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Test Pilot. Earlier this year, she was selected as a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Military Academy. She was also recently inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
