GENE CDTs Elle Bennett ’23, Annesley Black ’23, and Marley Wait ’23 presented their research at the 2022 Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) & Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) and Operational Energy-Innovation Symposium in Arlington, Virginia. Elle, Annesley, and Marley – members of the Pfluger Research Group – presented three posters related to research under the ESTCP-funded project titled “Advancing Energy Resilience through Demonstrating, Characterizing, and Modeling Anaerobic Co-digestion of Organic Wastes for Widespread Implementation on DOD Installations.” They had the opportunity to present and discuss their research with numerous Department of Defense environmental Leaders, including Mr. Richard Kidd ’86, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy & Environment Resilience.
