Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley ’67 will become an honorary commander in the Nevada Army National Guard.
The Nevada Army Guard said a ceremony will be held on Friday to recognize Foley for his business and philanthropic contributions to the Las Vegas valley and nationwide.
“Given all he has done for our nation and community, Bill Foley is the type of person the honorary commander program was made for,” Brig. Gen. Troy Armstrong, commander of the Nevada Army Guard, said in a news release. “This event serves as a way to recognize his service for our state, nation and community and celebrate all he has done throughout his career, especially his support of our nation’s military.”
