Army West Point cross country CDT Nathan Davis ’26 was named Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In addition, CDT Joanna Halfhill ’25 and CDT Charlotte Richman ’26 earned recognition on the Patriot League Academic All-League Team.
Davis is a chemical engineering major at West Point who has earned the Superintendent’s Award for Achievement along with tabbing Dean’s List recognition each semester. He helped the Army men to a second-place finish at the Patriot League Championships while coming in second place individually. Davis previously earned Academic All-league recognition during the outdoor track in the spring.
Halfhill is a physics major who ranks in the top three in her class and is soon to graduate this coming May. A team captain, Halfhill placed 17th at the Patriot League Championships to help Army secure its second consecutive win at the conference meet, the first time for the program since 1996-97. She was named Patriot League Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year during her sophomore season. Halfhill was named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team in both indoor and outdoor track & field in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons and now earns her sixth overall Academic All-League award.
Richman is an Engineering Psychology major at USMA and earned his third consecutive Academic All-League recognition after receiving the honor in both outdoor and indoor track & field this past season. Richman led the Black Knights to another Patriot League Championship in cross country, placing second overall at the meet as Army edged Boston for the trophy.
