West Point grads are so nice, they brought the Stanley Cup back twice! NHL Florida Panthers owner and West Point graduate Vincent Viola ’77 brought the team and fellow members of the Long Gray Line, along with the prestigious Stanley Cup, back to his Rockbound Highland Home on Friday.

Abizaid ’73 [Retired], former Commander, U.S. Central Command; and Lieutenant General Patrick J. Donahue ’80 [Retired], former Deputy Commander, U.S. Army Forces Command).

West Point Grad-Supported Florida Panthers Take Home First Stanley Cup in Franchise History
Last year, Army West Point Head Hockey Coach Brian Riley started telling people, “You don’t come to West Point to play in the NHL, you come to own a team in the NHL” after 2022-23 Stanley Cup Vegas Golden Knights owner, Bill Foley ’67 brought the cup back to West Point for cadets to celebrate. Maybe he wasn’t wrong.
