After scoring a goal and having an assist, both CDTs Cami Silvestro ’26 and Keira Vesy ’25 brought home weekly Patriot League honors.
Silvestro earns Midfielder of the Week after getting an assist on the game-winning goal against Samford on August 28 and then scoring the game winning goal with an olympico against Providence on September 1. Silvestro now has three goals in her career, two from about 25 yards out and an olympico. It was her second game winner this season. Her two goals this year are tied for the third most in the Patriot League and tied for the team lead (CDTs Bella Cooke ’26, Bella Conti ’28, Brigid Duffy ’26).
Vesy brings home Defensive Player of the Week after scoring the game winning goal against Samford August 28, her first goal of the season. She played the full 90 minutes, guiding an Army backline that only allowed one goal. On September 1 against Providence, she assisted Brigid Duffy in a game tying goal in a game the Black Knights would go on to win 2-1. Like against Samford, she led the Army backline to allowing one goal while playing the full 90.
Just three weeks into the young season, a Black Knight has won each of the five different weekly Patriot League awards. The Black Knights are currently riding a five-game win streak and sit at 5-1-0. Dating back to last season, they are 11-1-1 in their last 13 games.
