Army Women’s Lacrosse Earns Four Weekly Patriot League Awards

Four Army West Point Women’s Lacrosse athletes have been recognized as Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week. The quartet helped Army to a pair of blowout victories in conference play this past week, as Army took down Boston by a score of 17-7 before posting a 19-7 victory over Lehigh.

Midfielder of the Week: CDT Brigid Duffy ’26
Duffy logged 12 goals this past week to go along with 13 draw controls, five assists, four caused turnovers and five ground balls. She began the week with a five-goal, three-assist performance at Boston, before matching a career-high with seven goals against Lehigh. Adding nine draw controls against the Mountain Hawks, she currently ranks in the top-five in the league in goals, assists, draw controls, and ground balls, while leading the conference in caused turnovers.

Defensive Player of the Week: CDT Madeline Lenkart ’24
Lenkart earns her second straight Defensive Player of the Week honor after causing six turnovers and securing five ground balls to go along with nine draw controls across both contests. A menace to the opposition in the midfield, Lenkart has also not turned the ball over in eight straight games. She recorded two points at Boston to go along with a pair of caused turnovers and ground balls plus six draw controls. She returned against Lehigh to cause four turnovers and secure three ground balls and draw controls.

Attacker of the Week: CDT Allison Reilly ’26
Reilly totaled 17 points across both games while causing a pair of turnovers. She deposited four goals to go along with five assists at Boston, before scoring four times with four assists in the win over Lehigh. She has recorded at least eight points in three straight games and leads the Patriot League with 31 points in conference play this season.

Goalkeeper of the Week: CDT Lindsey Serafine ’26
Serafine picked up her third straight victory in the cage, allowing just ten goals across both starts. The yearling yielded just three goals deep into the third quarter before being relieved at Boston, having made four stops in the contest. Returning against Lehigh, Serafine stopped six shots in total including six of the final eight that she faced as Army allowed just two goals in the final three quarters. She has recorded 41 saves with 39 goals allowed across her past six appearances.

The Black Knights will look to make it four in a row in the conference on April 6, hosting American for senior day with opening draw set for noon from Michie Stadium.
