Join a Society Near You
West Point Societies and the West Point Association of Graduates have the common purpose of furthering public understanding and support of the Military Academy. They do this by enabling graduates, former cadets, widows of graduates, and other friends of West Point to gather together in support of the Academy’s aims, ideals, standards, and achievements. Connect with a Society in your area.

Another March Back (775 Miles Away)
|
 |
Led by Mike Cashman ’91 and Tom von Kaenel ’77, WPS-Upper South Carolina showed its support for the Class of 2019 by holding its own 12-mile March Back along the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, SC on August 8. Twenty-three participants, including the parents and siblings of New Cadets Gressette Holt ’19 and Jackson Darash ’19, started their six-mile roundtrip journey at 0540 and wrapped it up three-and-a-half hours later with a fellowship breakfast catered by Chic-fil-A. “A number of people on the trail that morning shouted ‘Go Army!’” said von Kaenel. “This was an excellent opportunity to connect, network, and get to know those that share common values, principles, and ideals about service.”

Ready for Some Army West Point Football?
The home team counts on your support, even when it’s playing a game away from Michie Stadium, and WPSs can help support the team when it hits the road by sponsoring an Army West Point Football tailgate event. It is a great way to energize local grads, parents, future candidates and all Black Knight fans, and to promote West Point in your community. To assist WPSs with these events, WPAOG has prepared an Away Game Tailgate Packet, which includes a planning checklist, essential contact info, and a sample budget form. Your WPS + an away game tailgate = a victory for West Point (even before the game is played)! GO ARMY!
