One milestone has hit the new cadets of the Class of 2016 as they are accepted into the Corps of Cadets during the Acceptance Day Parade on the Plain Aug. 18. More than 960 cadets officially began their Cadet career by marching into their companies on the plain and passing in review The Class of 2016 began on Reception Day July 2 and began Cadet Basic Training. After completing nearly seven weeks of CBT and the confusion of Reorganization Week, the cadets showed what they have learned to family and friends. For the weekend, they were able to see friends and family before they hit the books Aug. 20.
