The Glee Club’s Knight Caps added their trademark blend of high emotional impact and fun to the West Point Society of the Mid-Hudson Region’s 2025 Founder’s Day Dinner, held at the West Point Club on March 27. At the start of the dinner, John Grisoni paid tribute to fallen soldiers, followed by a stirring performance of “Mansions of the Lord” by the Knight Caps. Steven Zachensky ’14 did a great job as MC. Joe Boys ’61 cut the cake with Mark Salinas ’13.

USMA CSM Anthony Powers’ was the guest speaker. His remarks offered a fascinating overview of all the positive things unfolding for the Corps. After dinner, the Knight Caps performed “Benny Havens” and the Alma Mater and finished the night off with an encore of “Anything Goes.”

The evening was a vibrant reminder of the enduring spirit of the Long Gray Line—a living legacy of leadership, camaraderie, and service that binds generations of West Point graduates. Through music, reflection, and fellowship, the evening honored the past while celebrating the bright future of West Point and its graduates.
