Army Water Polo Wins New York Divisional Championship

From October 18-20, Army Water Polo competed in the New York Divisional Water Polo Championships. After decisive wins over RPI and Coast Guard, Army faced Cornell in the finals. Tied in the last minute, Army sent the game into overtime, where they dominated Cornell 4-0 to win the division and secure a spot in the National Collegiate Club Championship in Gainesville, Florida. Leading scorers included CDTs Max Orlowski ’25, Christopher Perera ’26, and Robert DeMont ’25. Army now stands as the No. 1 team in the New York Division and No. 13 in the nation.

There are more than 120 clubs at West Point, including athletic, recreational, academic, religious, hobby, and diversity clubs—something for virtually every interest. These clubs are made possible by the generous supporters who contribute to the Margin of Excellence.
