Notice is hereby given that the 2024 Annual Meeting for regular members of the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) will take place on Tuesday, November 19 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time in the Herbert Hall Alumni Center, 698 Mills Road, West Point, New York 10996. The business of the meeting will be to elect a Chair, Vice-Chair, five members to our Board of Directors, and six Advisors at Large.

October 2-4, West Point welcomed more than 200 undergraduate students from over 100 universities and 20 countries at the 75th Annual Class of 1971 Student Conference on U.S. Affairs (SCUSA). This year’s conference theme was “Securing the Blessings of Liberty: American Foreign Policy in a Multipolar World.” Attendees discussed complex issues of foreign policy, from “conflict and cooperation in the Arctic” to the “threat and promise of technology” and more.

Under the leadership of SCUSA Commander, CDT Summer Mirigilano ’25, the conference’s opening panel discussed multipolarity led by the distinguished scholars and experts in international relations. Delegates later had the opportunity from hearing from the Dean, BG Shane R. Reeves ’96 and keynote speaker, Professor G. John Ikenberry. After creating new U.S. foreign policy over two days, delegates presented their impressive policy presentations.

Ambassador Douglas Lute ’75, former US Ambassador to NATO and 2018 WPAOG Distinguished Graduate Awardee, Honorable Douglas R. Bush ’93, ASA AL&T, and LTG (R) Nadja West ’82, former Army Surgeon General and 2022 WPAOG Distinguished Graduate Awardee were also part of this year’s SCUSA event.
