The Dad Vail Regatta moved from the National Racecourse site on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia to the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J., for the second straight year. There were 291 entries from 69 schools. Army Crew entered ten boats in men’s varsity, women’s varsity, and novice categories. All ten entries made the semi-finals. In addition to the four medals, the women’s novice eight, men’s varsity four, and women’s varsity four made the Grand Finals, finishing fourth, sixth, and sixth, respectively.

There are nearly 120 cadet clubs at West Point including athletic, recreational, academic, religious, hobby, and diversity clubs – something for virtually every interest, made possible by donors supporting the Margin of Excellence.
