Members of the West Point Class of 2027 officially joined the Corps of Cadets on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The occasion was marked with the traditional Acceptance Day parade on the Plain.

An important part of the West Point Association of Graduates 50-Year-Affiliation program is that it connects the senior classes with the current four classes in the Corps of Cadets. Representatives from the Classes of 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977 attended this year’s Acceptance Day parade seated in the Superintendent’s review box on the plain. Representing their classes were: Mr. Louis Vozzo ’74,  The Honorable Wes Hayes ’75, MG (R) Glenn Lesniak USAR ’76,  COL (R) James R. Malcom USA ‘77
