On Saturday, April 22, 2023, the West Point Society of Annapolis (WPSOA) joined the Army men’s lacrosse team parents and the Army Lacrosse Association in sponsoring the Army Lacrosse Tailgate prior to the Army-Navy lacrosse game at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The tailgate was a huge success, with 400 guests, including alumni, families and guests enjoying a bountiful spread provided by the team parents that included grilled hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs and salads. The highlight of the day was the 11-6 victory by the #8 nationally ranked Army team over the Navy team.  

The West Point Society of Annapolis also teamed up with Army baseball alumni to sponsor a tailgate that preceded the Army-Navy baseball game. Approximately 50 grads, family members and friends attended the tailgate that featured sandwiches, sides and drinks. Following the tailgate, the Army supporters enjoyed an 11-4 Army team victory over the Navy team at Navy’s Max Bishop Stadium. The following day, the Army team again defeated the Navy team twice in a double-header, 3-2 and 10-0.
