Directorate of Cadet Activities
Cadet Activities (DCA) provides co-curricular, recreational, cultural, spiritual, and social outlets for cadets that contribute to cadet development militarily, physically, academically, ethically, spiritually, and socially. DCA is comprised of more than 100 different clubs. Every activity provides valuable leadership opportunities for cadets, placing them in charge of training, scheduling, budgeting, travel, and other operations.
DCA programs allow cadets to develop new skills and interests while maximizing their opportunities for leadership experience. Many of the clubs travel all over the United States and compete throughout the entire academic year—always representing West Point in a professional manner.
Recognition:
Our gift of $500,000 will support ALL Cadet Clubs in perpetuity. Our class will be recognized at the annual Club Night (including publication/marketing materials related to event) and in the Annual Report of Gifts for the year the funds are received. In addition, an invitation to the Club Night, when appropriate, will be extended to members of our Class annually.
